Back to News CDC Funding Opportunities for 性视界Members: Public Health Emergency Preparedness/Response and Data Modernization Wednesday, May 19, 2021 | Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Membership Announcements, Newsletter, Policy & Advocacy, Research & Data, Rounds with Leadership AACN, in cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is pleased to announce two Notice of Opportunity of Funding for Workforce Improvement Projects (WIPs): Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Applied Research and Practice Training Program and Public Health Data Modernization Workshop. WIPs are non-research domestic or international projects with a workforce development component that are developed, funded, and managed by the Centers, Institutes, and Offices of the CDC. 性视界member schools of nursing with expertise in public health emergency preparedness/response, public health information systems, and interprofessional relationships with schools of public health and state/local health departments are strongly encouraged to apply for these funding opportunities. The project period for these awards are approximately 10 months and are being funded for $400,000 and $300,000. 性视界member schools should submit applications directly to 性视界by emailing Allison Jacobs at ajacobs@aacnnursing.org no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, July 5, 2021.
